Retirement may mean different things to different people. To some, it may mean any form of work stoppage. To others, retirement means stoppage of work on age
grounds. To us, we suggest that retirement may mean both perspectives. The question we need to ask is, “Are people prepared at all times for the next work exit?’’
“Why don’t people do what they’re supposed to do?” Perhaps because they don’t know why they should do it or they don’t know what they are supposed to do or they don’t know how to do it. Performance Management is about helping your team to perform well and removing any obstacles to it.
